This course is organized by the Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR) in Stadtschlaining/Austria, in close cooperation with and support of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence and Sports (MoDS), the Austrian Ministry of External Affairs as well as the Austrian Ministry of Interior.
This course is set at the operational level and targets senior national and international experts and decision-makers of armed forces (battalion level and above), police (senior police officers), non-governmental/civilian organisations (head of substantive sections and above), and the political/civilian administration (head of division/department and above) who are working in the context of peacekeeping and/or international crisis management.
The Course is part of the ESDC Training Programme and has furthermore been certified by the United Nations.
The cost for participation is EUR 600,- which covers full-board accommodation, course materials and a social event. Participants are expected to cover their travel to VIE International Airport, from where further transport to the course venue will be offered. Kindly note that there are no scholarships available for this course.
For practical reasons, both courses will be advertised together as their dates are close to each other.
