Austrian Development Cooperation
Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) supports countries in Africa, Asia and Central America as well as in South Eastern and Eastern Europe in their sustainable social, economic and democratic development. The Foreign Ministry (FMEIA) plans ADC strategies and programmes. The Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the operational unit of ADC, implements these together with public institutions, non-governmental organisations and enterprises.other public actors >>Countries and Regions
In keeping with the international trend of placing more emphasis on regional strategies and reducing individual engagements, Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) concentrates on six key regions in Africa, Asia, Central America and South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Several field offices cooperate directly with our partners to ensure that development assistance is geared to local settings and is targeted effectively . The key regions and priority countries of Austrian Development Cooperation are:
