Overall goal

Der Hurrikan Felix hat am 4. September weite Teile der Karibikregion Nikaraguas heimgesucht. Dabei wurden unter anderem die Dörfer Kambla und Tuara und der Campus Kambla der Universität der Autonomen Karibikküste - URACCAN fast zur Gänze zerstört.

Das vorliegende Vorhaben hat zum Ziel, die vom Hurrikan Felix zum grö ten Teil verwüsteten Einrichtungen des Campus Bilwi der Universität URACCAN und die Lebensbedingungen der indigenen Bevölkerung der Dörfer Kambla und Tuara wieder herzustellen. Desweitern soll die weitere Zusammenarbeit der Universität mit den Dörfern wieder hergestellt werden, um das bereits seit Jahren begonnene kommunale Betreuungsmodell der Universität weiterhin verwirklichen zu können.
