Call to submit an offer for the “DELPAZ-Sofala SUPPLY OF BEEKEEPING TRAINING GOODS AND SERVICE AND HONEY VALUE CHAIN”

The Austrian Development Agency (ADA) has been delegated by the European Union (EU) to implement the Sub-Program for Sofala Province of a strategic project focusing on local development for peace consolidation in Mozambique (DELPAZ Sofala) until the end of December 2024.

The overall objective is to contribute to the consolidation of peace at the subnational level in Mozambique. The specific objective is to improve the livelihoods of rural communities in conflict-affected districts in Sofala province, with a special focus on women, youth, and disadvantaged groups.

ADA / DELPAZ-Sofala intends to hire a supplier consultant trainer or specialized company(ies) / organization(s) to supply, design and implement a training and/or training program for producers in terms of beekeeping with improved and environmentally friendly hives, qualify/train those trained to produce hives locally, train those trained to produce the best quality honey and in marketing techniques with the target of 90 beneficiaries at least 50% women, youth and participants, members of the DDR process and their families (nominated by the Secretariat of Peace) from the communities most affected by the political-military conflict in the six (6) districts, according to the recommendation of the market system and food system study.
