Die Dokumentations- und Kooperationsstelle Südliches Afrika (SADOCC) plant anlässlich des 100-jährigen Gründungsjubiläums des African National Congress (ANC) eine Veranstaltungsreihe zur politischen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung Südafrikas. Ziel ist es, die gesellschaftspolitische Dimension der südafrikanischen Entwicklung in Bezug auf Gleichheit und soziale Gerechtigkeit und ihre bisherigen Errungenschaften und Defizite herauszuarbeiten. Nach Jahrzehnten der Verfolgung und des Verbotes ist der ANC seit den ersten Wahlen in der Geschichte des Landes 1994 die führende Regierungspartei.

Mehrere Vorträge mit Diskussion und Filmeinspielungen in den Landeshauptstädten Wien, St.Pölten, Linz, Salzburg und Graz sind in Kooperation mit der Republik Südafrika, dem Bruno-Kreisky-Forum, dem Institut für Zeitgeschichte und weiteren regionalen Partnern für 2012 geplant. Mit dem Projekt soll vorrangig die Einladung eines prominenten Zeitzeugen aus Südafrika für die Veranstaltung in Wien ermöglicht werden.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 4.000,- (57,14 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
