Overall goal


Das 22. Internationale Film Festival Innsbruck (IFFI) zeigt von 28. Mai bis 2. Juni 2013 in einem internationalen Wettbewerb Filme aus Afrika, Asien, Lateinamerika und (Süd-)Osteuropa.

Ziel ist, die kulturelle Vielfalt dieser Kontinente bzw. Regionen einem größeren Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Es werden rund 80 Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme präsentiert, für die mehrere Jurypreise vergeben werden.

Die Filmvorführungen werden ergänzt durch ein umfangreiches Begleitprogramm (Publikumsdiskussionen mit FilmemacherInnen und ProduzentInnen, Einführungen von ExpertInnen, Ausstellungen, Workshops, Konzerte).

Thematische Schwerpunkte 2013 sind u.a. Timeline Georgien, Aufbruch Kuba, Filmgeschichte - Hommage Theo Angelopoulos, Mexiko im Mittelpunkt sowie Afrika Koproduktionen.

Zielgruppen sind die entwicklungspolitisch interessierte Öffentlichkeit sowie ein kino- und kulturinteressiertes Publikum.

Das IFFI arbeitet mit einem breiten Netzwerk von KooperationspartnerInnen im In- und Ausland zusammen (FilmexpertInnen, Filmfestivals, Bildungseinrichtungen, Schulen, Hochschulen, Wirtschaft, Nichtregierungsorganisationen, Stadt Innsbruck, Tourismusverband, nationale und regionale Medien).

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 170.000,- in der Höhe von Euro 12.000,- (7,06%) gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
