Overall goal


In den kommenden 3 Studienjahren werden durch die Salzburger Tourismusschulen der 45.-47. Lehrgang angeboten. Inhaltich werden die Studienzweige Tourismus- und Hotelmanagement (8-monatig) sowie den neunmonatigen Teachers Training Lehrgang durchgeführt. Ziel dieses Projektes ist es insgesamt 99 AbsolventInnen in die Lage zu versetzen einen Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Weiterentwicklung des Tourismus in den Ländern zu leisten.


Die Studierenden können zwischen 3 Studienrichtungen innerhalb eines Lehrgangs wählen:

Aufbauend auf einem Grundstudium für alle TeilnehmerInnen richtet sich der Lehrgang für Tourismusmanagement an MitarbeiterInnen von Tourismusministerien, Tourismusorganisationen und Reisebüros, der Lehrgang Hotelmanagement an Studierende in den Bereichen Hotellerie und Gastronomie. Der Lehrgang Teacher Training ist vorwiegend für LehrerInnen von Hochschulen und Colleges konzipiert, die in der Folge als MultiplikatorInnen in ihrem Herkunftsland beitragen sollen.


Die KandidatInnen müssen Universitätsreife bzw. eine entsprechende Qualifikation, sowie praktische Erfahrung im Tourismusbereich nachweisen. Die Lehrgänge werden in englischer Sprache abgehalten und schließen mit einem "Diploma of the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management" ab. weiters besteht für die AbsovlventInnen nach Abschluss des Kurses an der Fachhochschule Salzburg das Studium weiter zu führen.


Das Projekt wird größtenteils aus Mitteln der OEZA sowie auch Beiträgen der Wirtschaftskammer und des Landes Salzburg, dem Salzburger Tourismusförderungsfonds und der Städtepartnerschaft Salzburg finanziert. Von der OEZA werden für die kommenden Jahre Kosten für StipendiatInnen aus OEZA Schwerpunktländern und weiteren Entwicklungsländern übernommen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
