Overall goal


Der Verein KuKuRoots veranstaltet im Oktober 2012 die 9. Entwicklungspolitischen Filmtage in Linz, Gmunden, Altmünster und Gramastetten. Mit dem Schwerpunktthema - südliches Afrika - soll über das Medium Film eine Region und deren entwicklungspolitischen Aspekte vorgestellt werden. Dabei stehen Themen wie Land Grabbing, Erosion, mangelnde Infrastruktur, Holzraubbau und Auswirkungen von Strukturanpassungsprogrammen im Mittelpunkt. Weiters werden Projekte der österreichischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit zur Diskussion gestellt und ein analytischer und kritischer Blick auf die weitere Entwicklung des Inselstaates Madagaskar gelenkt. Die Filmvorführungen werden von Podiumsdiskussionen mit madagassischen Gästen sowie einem kulturellen Rahmenprogramm begleitet.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 13.700 in der Höhe von Euro 4.000.- (29,20%) gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
