Overall goal

Das Vorhaben ermöglicht die Ausbildung und Einsetzung eines mobilen nicht-ärztlichen Gesundheitsteams (Community Outreach Team) in der ländlichen Alur-Region im Western Bahr El Ghazal-State des Südsudans. Im Rahmen von Supervision wird das Team zeitweise von österreichischen Ärzten unterstützt. Nach spätestens fünf Jahren ist die Übernahme der MitarbeiterInnen des Community Outreach Teams in die Regelversorgung des staatlichen Gesundheitsdienstes geplant. Dadurch wird rund 35.000 Menschen der Zugang zu medizinischer Basisversorgung ermöglicht sowie die Kinder- und Müttersterblichkeit gesenkt.
