Overall goal


Der Verein "ipsum" bietet Menschen sowohl in Österreich als auch in verschieden Ländern des Südens in Workshops die Möglichkeit, Kompetenzen im Bereich Fotografie zu erwerben und ihre Geschichten aus der eigenen Perspektive zu erzählen. Die Projektkonzeption sieht erst durch die Einbringung des "Selbst" (ipsum) die Möglichkeit für authentische Bilder und Geschichten.

2008 wird ein Ausstellungsprojekt zu Afghanistan an jeweils mehreren Standorten in Wien, Salzburg und Innsbruck realisiert. Die im Rahmen der ipsum-Workshops in Afghanistan entstandenen Bildresultate werden präsentiert und von Interaktionen im öffentlichen Raum und Workshops begleitet. Den BetrachterInnen wird die Möglichkeit zur Reflexion fremder Lebenswelten und zum eigenen Engagement innerhalb des Projektes gegeben.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 15.000,- (50,63 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens, Laufzeit: 5 Monate) angesucht.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
