Overall goal


Die Black Community OÖ plant für 2014 ein vielfältiges entwicklungspolitisches Bildungs- und Begegnungsprogramm im Raum Linz. Das Vorhaben soll zur Völkerverständigung, gesellschaftlichen Sensibilisierung und differenzierten Wahrnehmung von Afrika bzw. von Menschen mit afrikanischen Wurzeln beitragen.

Die Palette an geplanten Aktivitäten umfasst das Afrikasymposium 2014 in der Tabakfabrik Linz, den 4. afrikanischen Literaturtag mit Begleitprogramm im Wissensturm/VHS Linz sowie regelmäßige TV- und Radiosendungen ‚AfrOö TV‘ in Kooperation mit freien Medien. Weitere geplante Maßnahmen sind das Ausstellungsprojekt Schau nicht weg! – Bilder gegen Diskriminierung und Intoleranz an 3 Standorten im Raum Linz, sowie Workshops für Schulen/Kindergärten und für ein außerschulisches Ferienprogramm.

Umfangreiche Informations- und Medienarbeit (Broschüren, Radio, TV, Print) begleiten das Aktionsprogramm, welches in Kooperationen mit etablierten Linzer Kultur- und Bildungsinstitutionen sowie den afrikanischen Vereinen durchgeführt wird.

Neben den Menschen mit afrikanischen Hintergrund und themenaffinen Personen wird eine breite Öffentlichkeit im Raum Linz und Umgebung, insbesondere auch Kinder und Jugendliche, angesprochen.


Ergebnisse:

- Vermittlung eines positiven und vielfältigen Bildes von Afrika und Menschen afrikanischer Herkunft in der österreichischen Bevölkerung (6 TV-Sendungen auf dorf tv/ Reichweite 30.000 Haushalte, 10 Printmedienberichte, 1.200 Personen über Social Media).

- Begegnung und Vernetzung von Menschen mit afrikanischem Hintergrund und 'MehrheitsösterreicherInnen' (Insgesamt werden mittels Veranstaltungen rund 1.200 Personen erreicht).

- Empowerment und Partizipation von Menschen mit afrikanischen Wurzeln bzw. von Diaspora-Organisationen am EP Diskurs in Österreich (Initiieren neuer Kooperationen).


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 40.898,- mit Euro 12.000,- (29,34%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
