Overall goal


Der Dokumentarfilm widmet sich den indigenen Kulturen im Südlichen Afrika. Er thematisiert die Situation der San ("Buschmänner") in Botswana, Namibia und Südafrika, die mit rechtlichen und politischen Mitteln für ihre Selbstbestimmung, gegen staatlich verordnete Entwicklungsvorstellungen und für die Achtung ihrer kulturellen Rechte kämpfen. Der Film beruht auf langjährigen Arbeiten mit San und wird in einer 90-Minuten sowie einer 55-Minuten Fassung hergestellt. Die Förderung ist speziell für die Endproduktion und die Verwertungsmaßnahmen beantragt. Der Film wird anlässlich der Fußball-WM 2010 in Südafrika in den Vertriebskatalog des ORF aufgenommen. TV-Ausstrahlungen auf 3Sat und ORF/Bayern Alpha und evtl. ARTE sowie Präsentationsveranstaltungen im Rahmen des Afrika-Schwerpunktes 2010 sind vorgesehen. Zielgruppe sind neben interessiertem Fernsehpublikum auch ein wissenschaftlicher Adressatenkreis sowie Studierende.

Das Projekt wird in der Höhe von Euro 6.000.- (50 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.
