Overall goal


Ein immer größer werdender Anteil der arbeitenden Bevölkerung weltweit ist in der informellen Wirtschaft tätig, wo arbeitsrechtlicher Schutz für ArbeitnehmerInnen nicht gegeben ist. Besonders Frauen sind überproportional und immer stärker von der Ausweitung der Informalisierung betroffen.


Der Verein Frauensolidarität will mittels Vorträgen, Workshops, Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie gezieltem Lobbying bei Opinion-LeaderInnen in Politik und Wirtschaft ein Problembewusstsein zur Informalisierung der Frauenarbeit in EZA- und OZA-Ländern schaffen. Ein besonderer Stellenwert kommt einer Rundreise einer Vertreterin aus einem Partnerland zu.

Die Produktion einer Broschüre, eines Kalenders und eines elektronischen Newsletters ergänzt das auf Information und Dialog hin ausgerichtete Programm.


Durch gezielte Informations-, Öffentlichkeits- und Bildungsarbeit wird im ersten Projektjahr (Juli 2006-Juni 2007) das Problemfeld sichtbar gemacht. Im zweiten Projektjahr (Juli 2007-Juni 2008) wird die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit weitergeführt und schwerpunktmäßig durch Lobbying ergänzt.


Die Zielgruppen, die mit der Information angesprochen werden, sind EntscheidungsträgerInnen und MultiplikatorInnen in Wirtschaft und Politik. Sie sollen Teil eines Netzwerks von UnterstützerInnen werden, die sich für verbesserte gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen und u.a. für CSR-Prozesse in Unternehmen einsetzen.


Oberziel des Projekts ist die Information der Öffentlichkeit über das Problemfeld fehlender Arbeitsrechte von Frauen in der informellen Wirtschaft.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 92.529,- in der Höhe von

EUR 76.650,- (83%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
