Overall goal


ATTAC, die "Association pour une Taxation des Transactions financieres pour l`Aide aux Citoyens" (Verein zur Besteuerung von Finanztransaktionen zum Wohle der Menschen) entstand 1998. Die Veranstaltung einer jährlichen Sommerakademie stellt eine wesentliche Maßnahme der Bildungsarbeit von ATTAC Österreich dar. Im Juli 2006 findet die vierte ATTAC-Sommerakademie zum Themenbereich regionaler Integration (Bestrebungen zur Schaffung regionaler Integrationszonen) statt.


Das übergeordnete Thema "Global -Regional - Lokal" spannt nun das dritte Mal den Bogen über Verwaltungen, in denen jeweils ein Schwerpunkt aus entwicklungspolitischer und globalisierungskritischer Sicht beleuchtet werden soll. Ausgangspunkt der Sommerakademie 2006 sind lt. Antrag die Tendenzen in vielen Regionen der Welt, den Herausforderungen einer zunehmend globalisierenden Ökonomie mit der Schaffung regionaler Integrationszonen zu begegnen. Die Sommerakademie 2006 will die Entwicklung thematisieren und die Ziele und Formen regionaler Integration sowie die Auswirkungen solcher Tendenzen sowohl auf die Ökonomie als auch auf Politik und auf soziale und kulturelle Entwicklungen hinterfragen.

ATTAC greift damit einen auch aus entwicklungspolitischer Sicht sehr interessanten Themenkomplex auf. Die Sommerakademie von ATTAC hat jährlich ca. 300 Teilnehmende, davon sind der Großteil Jugendliche. Weiters legt ATTAC großen Wert auf die Einbindung lokaler Initiativen aus dem globalisierungskritischen und entwicklungspolitischen Bereich.


Es wird um eine Förderung aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,00 (29,49 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) angesucht.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
