Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist es, pro Jahr 172 behinderten Menschen (Down Syndrom Patienten, Autisten) sowie hörgeschädigten und entwicklungsverzögerten Jugendlichen im Alter von 14 bis 29, vorwiegend aus dem Ballungsraum Islamabad/Rawalpindi (ca. 5 Millionen Einwohner), eine marktorientierte Ausbildung zu geben, um ihre Chancen am Arbeitsmarkt sowie ihre ökonomischen Chancen in der pakistanischen Gesellschaft zu erhöhen. Für die Zielgruppe soll ein adäquat ausgestattetes technisches und berufliches Ausbildungszentrum in einem Heim in Rawalpindi/nördliche Provinz Punjab eingerichtet werden.


Nach einem medizinischen und psychologischen Assessment der Kandidaten, einer Einschätzung ihrer Talente sowie einer Marktanalyse werden eine Reihe von Berufsausbildungskursen in verschiedenen Modulen angeboten. Dieses Ausbildungsangebot umfasst Schneiderei, Stickerei und Wirkwarenerzeugung, Töpferei sowie Hauswirtschaftslehre. Bei Bedarf kann zusätzlich auch eine Ausbildung in Sekretariatsarbeiten sowie in Tischlerei angeboten werden.


Zusätzlich zu den Trainees werden als indirekte Zielgruppe über 1.000 Familienmitglieder von diesem Projekt profitieren.
