Overall goal


Welthaus ist der Zusammenschluss von sieben katholischen entwicklungspolitischen Organisationen in Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, St. Pölten und Wien. Welthaus bietet seine Erfahrung und sein Know How in der Durchführung von Gästeeinsätzen nun auch anderen Gruppen und Organisationen an, die sie selbst seit 2003 durchführen. Dieses Angebot wurde 2006 auch erstmals genutzt. Workshops mit der Arbeitsgruppe Bildung der KOO (Koordinierungsstelle der Österreichischen Bischofskonferenz für internationale Entwicklung und Mission), mit Pepi (Plattform entwicklungspolitischer Inlandsarbeit AGEZ und EU-Plattform) und der WEKEF-Vollversammlung in Linz wurden bereits durchgeführt und nach Rückmeldungen adaptiert.


2007 werden die Gäste aus den Philippinen kommen, 2008 aus Tansania. Für 2007 und 2008 sind je 6 Vernetzungstreffen mit Vor- und Nachbereitung zur Planung und Vorbereitung der Begegnungen und Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen geplant. Es gibt unterschiedliche Module für die Zusammenarbeit der Dialoggruppen (Recherchen, Interviews, Lehrerinnenfortbildungen, Vorträge, Workshops, Aufführungen, Bildungserhebungsreisen). Weiters wird es eine organisatorische Vor- und Nachbereitung geben mit hohem Reflexionsanspruch. Eine laufende Qualitätssicherung und Weiterentwicklung der Standards durch Evaluation und Dokumentation sind ebenso vorgesehen wie ein erweitertes Serviceangebot für Organisationen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 204.480,00 und einer Laufzeit von 2 Jahren in der Höhe von EUR 136.500,00 (66,75 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
