Overall goal


Im Oktober 2006 ist eine Begegnungsreise von Südwind NÖ nach Kap Verde geplant. Eine Vor- und Nachbereitung für acht TeilnehmerInnen ist vorgesehen und eine Multiplikationswirkung wird in Form von Veranstaltungen, Berichten, Artikel sowie einer Publikation und gegebenenfalls eines Videos angestrebt. Vorgesehen ist ein Gegenbesuch von fünf KapverdierInnen im Oktober 2007. Indem auf die Verbindung fremder Lebenswelten mit den eigenen Wirkungskreisen aufgebaut und somit eine längerfristige Zusammenarbeit gefördert wird, nimmt das Programm Bezug auf wichtige Themen der OEZA.


Der Freundschaftsverein "DJUNTA MON ST. Pölten - Cabo Verde" ist seit 15 Jahren im Raum St. Pölten aktiv. Bisher wurden vorwiegend Projekte im Bildungsbereich (Kindergarten, Grundschule, öffentliche Bibliothek) für benachteiligte Bevölkerungsgruppen in der ländlichen Region, sowie soziale Projekte von Alleinstehenden und Tourismusprojekte (sanfter Wandertourismus) unterstützt. Die acht TeilnehmerInnen sind größtenteils in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit ehrenamtlich tätig. Im Hinblick auf die österreichischen TeilnehmerInnen ist es wenig zielführend im Sinne einer öffentlichkeitswirksamen Förderpolitik die Reise gesamtheitlich zu unterstützten, da der Mehrwert von zusätzlichem Erfahrungspotenzial für bereits erfahrene MultiplikatorInnen zu gering erscheint. Deshalb wird der Gegenbesuc der Kap Verderinnen gefördert.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 14.300,00 (21,6 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
