Overall goal



Der vorliegende Vertrag ist das Jahresprogramm 2005 zu der Rahmenvereinbarung, die die Entwicklungswerksstatt Austria (EWA) mit der ADA (vormals dem BMaA) abgeschlossen hat. Mit dem Jahresprogramm werden Projekte im westlichen Afrika gefördert, wobei der Anteil der OEZA Mittel bei 75% der Gesamtprojektsumme liegt und von EWA 25% Eigenmittel aufgestellt werden.


Mit dem Jahresprogramm 2005 werden zwei Projekte unterstützt: In Senegal soll die nationale Handwerkervereinigung FENAS in der Region Djourbel in einem Zeitraum von drei Jahren bis 2005 unterstützt werden. Damit im Zusammenhang steht auch die Einrichtung von lokalen Entwicklungsfonds auf Kreditbasis, um eine prinzipielle Finanzierungsbasis für kleinhandwerkliche Aktivitäten im ländlichen Raum sicher zustellen.


In Äthiopien wird ein neues Projekt 'Dugda Bora' durchgeführt: 'Getreidebankprojekt in Dugda Bora - DBCB', dass einen innovativen Ansatz zur Ernährungssicherheit darstellt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
