Overall goal


Der vorliegende Vertrag ist das Jahresprogramm 2005 zu der Rahmenvereinbarung, die die Organisation 'LICHT FÜR DIE WELT' (LfdW) mit der ADA (vormals mit dem BMaA) abgeschlossen hat. Mit dem Jahresprogramm werden Projekte in Programmländern der OEZA gefördert, wobei der Anteil an OEZA Mittel bei 75% der Gesamtprojektsumme liegt und von LfdW 25% der Eigenmittel aufgestellt werden.


Folgende Projekte werden durchgeführt:

Äthiopien: das 'Nationale Programm zur Blindheitsverhütung' ist die Weiterführung und Konsolidierung der im Jahr mit OEZA Unterstützung begonnen Kooperation mit dem Gesundheitsministerium in Äthiopien bzw. den regionalen Gesundheitsbehörden.


Äthiopien: 'Errichtung einer tertiären Augenklinik und Ausbildungsstätte in Jimma' - ebenfalls eine Projektfortführung - und mit der vorgesehenen Unterstützung des Aussenprogrammes der Klinik ist dieses dreijährige Programm mit Ende 2005 abgeschlossen.


Burkina Faso: Das 'Gemeindenahe Rehabilitationsprogramm in Ouargaye und Garango' wird seit vielen Jahren gemeinsam mit der Erzdiözese Koupéla und LfdW durchgeführt.


Tansania: ein neues Projekt zur unterstützenden Maßnahmen zur Ausbildung von FachärztInnen und medizinischem Fachpersonal am KCMC, Eye Department, Moshi.

    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
