Overall goal


Thematisch fokussiert die OEZA im SADC Raum neben Rechtsstaatlichkeit auf das Thema Infrastruktur. Dabei steht der Umstieg von der Nutzung fossiler Energie auf eine nachhaltige Energieversorgung im Vordergrund. Der Zugang zu leistbarer und nachhaltiger Energie für Kochen, Licht, Wärme, Kälte und Kraft ist eine Voraussetzung, um Armut im SADC Raum zu mindern.


In diesem Sinne unterstützt SOLTRAIN, Solarthermische Ausbildung und Demonstration im SADC Raum, erfolgreich die beteiligten SADC Mitgliedstaaten (Partnerländer der OEZA) in der beschleunigten Nutzung von thermischen Solaranlagen.


Am 06.11. und 07.11.2014 findet die internationale Fachtagung Solar Energy Technology in Development Cooperation in Frankfurt statt. Otti Renewable Energies, das deutsche Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und die Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, die Aliance for Rural Electification und die österreichische Fachorganisation Arbeitsgemeinschaft für erneuerbare Energie bilden den wissenschaftlichen Beirat der Tagung. Die SOLTRAIN Partner legten Konferenzbeiträge dem wissenschaftlichen Beirat vor, die alle angenommen wurden.


Die OEZA trägt zu den Kosten der Tagung bei und fördert die Teilnahme der Partner von SOLTRAIN, VertreterInnen der SADC und aus Bhutan.


Die erwartete Resultate sind

- 170 ExpertInnen der Solarthermie sowie VertreterInnen des privaten, des nicht staatlichen und staatlichen Sektors aus 20 Ländern nehmen an der Tagung teil

- durch 6 Beiträgen, im Rahmen von Vorträgen und Posterpräsentationen, ist SOLTRAIN während der Tagung umfassend dargestellt

- die SOLTRAIN Partner nutzen die Tagung zum Erfahrungsaustausch und Vernetzung um den Anwendungshorizont für thermische Solaranlagen zu erweitern.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
