Overall goal

ADA beteiligt sich am Prozess der ISO-Normierung von Social Responsibility (ISO 26.000), der bis Ende 2008 abgeschlossen sein soll. Österreich hält gemeinsam mit Indien und Costa Rica (das als Sekretariat fungiert) den Vorsitz in der Task Group 6 (Implementation and Communication) innerhalb der ISO Working Group on Social Responsibility. Vom 5. bis 9. November 2007 findet in Wien die Plenarsitzung der Arbeitsgruppe zum Thema gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (Social Responsibility) der Internationalen Normungsorganisation ISO mit ungefähr 350 Teilnehmern aus über 54 Ländern und von 28 internationalen Organisationen statt. Die Veranstaltung wird von ADA, Lebensministerium, UNIDO und UN Global Compact finanziert. Die ADA beteiligt sich mit EUR 35.000 bei dieser Veranstaltung (siehe Vertrag 2494-00/2007) um die speziellen Interessen und Probleme der Entwicklungsländer einzubringen und weil CSR einen Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung leisten kann.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
