(a) Die Südwind-Regionalstelle NÖ in St. Pölten bietet ein Basisangebot für entwicklungspolitische Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Die Mediathek, die Beratungstätigkeit, die Vermittlung von ReferentInnen und Workshops sowie die Unterstützung von LehrerInnen und anderen MultiplikatorInnen bei lokalen Aktionen stehen im Mittelpunkt der Servicestelle. Das bisher aufgebaute Profil - Landwirtschaft und Ernährung, Umwelt, Entwicklung und Nachhaltigkeit sowie Fairer Handel - wird beibehalten und vertieft. Der interkulturelle und interreligiöse Dialog wird ebenfalls unterstützt. Die Regionalstelle St. Pölten führt zu diesen Themen in Kooperation mit verschiedenen Organisationen Aktionen und begleitende Öffentlichkeitsarbeit durch.


(b) "Begegnungen Äthiopien - Österreich":

Äthiopien ist seit 2007 EZA-Schwerpunktland des Landes NÖ. Im Vorfeld eines geplanten Regionalentwicklungsprogramms zwischen den Regionen NÖ-Mitte/Österreich und Gonder/Äthiopien ist für November 2009 eine Delegationsreise geplant. 12 TeilnehmerInnen aus Niederösterreich (Schlüsselpersonen der öffentlichen Verwaltung und der Zivilgesellschaft im Bereich EZA, Bildung/Wissenschaft, Landwirtschaft, Umwelt/Klima/Fairer Handel, Gender sowie Medien) werden Projekte und (potenzielle) österreichische PartnerInnen in Äthiopien besuchen, um sich vor Ort ein Bild zu machen. Die Reise ist für 14 Tage (inkl. 2 Tage An- und Abreise) angesetzt. Es folgt ein Gegenbesuch von 5 TeilnehmerInnen aus Äthiopien. Geplante Aktivitäten: Vorbereitungsseminare, Reise, Nachbereitungsseminare, Medienarbeit, 7 Veranstaltungen, Verfassen einer Dokumentation, Gegenbesuch.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 218.800,00 in der Höhe von EUR 60.000,00 (27,42%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
