Overall goal


Das Afro-Asiatische Institut Salzburg nützt seine Erfahrung als interkulturelles Bildungs- und Begegnungszentrum. Information, Sensibilisierung und Austausch stehen im Mittelpunkt. Drei Zugänge beleuchten die „Globalen Arbeitswelt(en)“ von unterschiedlichen Seiten. Um die Darstellung und Diskussion von Lebensbedingungen im Globalen Süden geht es bei den „Arbeitenden“. Unter dem Titel „Lebensstil und Konsum“ wird gemeinsam mit den TeilnehmerInnen dem eigenen Bezug zu diesen globalen und globalisierten Arbeitswelten nachgegangen. Das Schwerpunktthema „Wirtschaft und Verantwortung“ stellt die Bemühungen von Unternehmen und Wirtschaftstreibenden hinsichtlich fairer Arbeitsbedingungen auf den Prüfstand. Themenwochen, Thementage, Ausstellungen, Seminarreihen, Podiumsgespräch oder Biofaires Weltdinner ergeben ein vielfältiges Bildungsprogramm.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 52.000.- in der Höhe von Euro 22.000.- (42,31 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
