Overall goal


Bei diesem Angebot der Katholischen Jugend Österreichs (KJÖ) werden MultiplikatorInnen ausgebildet. Ziel ist es, das eigene Arbeiten fair und nachhaltig zu gestalten und die globalen Strukturen und Prozesse, die hinter Themen wie Fairer Handel, Ernährungssouveränität und Klimawandel liegen, zu verstehen und sich anschließend individuell oder gemeinsam für mehr Nachhaltigkeit und Fairness einzusetzen. Zielgruppe sind JugendarbeiterInnen der KJÖ bzw. anderer Jugendorganisationen sowie MultiplikatorInnen aus kooperierenden Organisationen. Dabei werden lokale und kleinräumige Handlungsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt, die gemeinsame Erarbeitung von jeweils geeigneten Aktionsplänen wird forciert. Die Projektsteuerung wird durch ein österreichweites Team der Fairen KJ wahrgenommen, die Umsetzung der Bildungsangebote erfolgt in allen Bundesländern.

Resultate:

Die ‚Bildung für Fairness‘ Angebote sind Teil des Projekts der Fairen KJ, das ca. 900 Personen in ganz Österreich, die in der Jugendarbeit oder in anderen Organisationen tätig sind, direkt einbindet. Im Projektzeitraum finden fünf Fortbildungsveranstaltungen für MultiplikatorInnen der KJ-Jugendarbeit bzw. für MitarbeiterInnen anderer Organisationen zu den Themen Nachhaltigkeit und Fairness statt. Diese erstrecken sich von einstündigen Workshops bis zu 2-tägigen Trainings und erreichen jeweils mindestens zehn Personen. Durch Öffentlichkeits- und Medienarbeit werden sowohl der Projektverlauf als auch Good-Practice-Beispiele der Aktionspläne veröffentlicht. Im Rahmen des Festivals Key2life werden bei einem Infostand Ideen für einen zukunftsfähigen Lebensstil für Jugendliche vorgestellt. Die KJ-JugendleiterInnen in den Regionen werden im Rahmen einer Fairen KJ Tour besucht. Diese Tour dient auch der Evaluierung des Projektes mit den regionalen Fairen KJ Verantwortlichen.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 28.900.- in der Höhe von Euro 9.500.- (42,87%) gefördert.
