Overall goal


Das seit 1984 bestehende Frauenservice ist eine überparteilich, überkonfessionell und interkulturell offene Organisation in Form eines Vereins in Graz. Als anerkannte Erwachsenenbildungseinrichtung ist das Frauenservice seit Oktober 2008 mit dem europäischen Qualitätsgütesiegel LQW ausgezeichnet. Mit Beratungs- und Bildungsarbeit will das Frauenservice zur Chancengleichheit und Gleichstellung von Frauen und Männern in allen Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft beitragen und Autonomie, Selbstbestimmung und Existenzsicherung von Frauen stärken. Neben der Beratungsstelle dient das Cafe palaver connected als Treffpunkt und Informationsdrehscheibe zu frauenspezifischen Fragen und Anliegen und als Ort für interkulturelle und sozialpolitische Veranstaltungen, Ausstellungen, Workshops, Seminare, Diskussionen und Bildungsangebote.

Ziel des vorliegenden Projektes ist die Sensibilisierung der bestehenden KundInnengruppen für Themen des Globalen Lernens. Für das Jahr 2009 hat sich das Frauenservice den Schwerpunkt interkulturelle Öffnung gesetzt und möchte diesem mit dem Bildungsfokus: Gender und Globales Lernen gerecht werden. Ansätze des Globalen Lernens werden nachhaltig in die Methodenentwicklung der Frauenorganisation Frauenservice Graz verankert.


Das Projekt Bildungsfokus: Gender und Globales Lernen wendet sich mit einer breiten Fülle an Veranstaltungsarten und guter Vernetzung zu diversen Kooperationspartner an ein ebenso breites Publikum. Als Nachweis für die absolvierte (Weiter-)Bildung steht für die TeilnehmerInnen ein Bildungspass Gender und Globales Lernen zur Verfügung.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 38.246,50 in der Höhe von EUR 22.300,00 (58,31%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
