Short Description:

Overall goal


Das Projekt ist die Fortsetzung eines dreijährigen kofinanzierten Projekts, das Ende 1999 abgeschlossen wurde. Durch das Projekt sollen die Umwelt und die Böden des Volkes der Guarani Mbya wiederhergestellt sowie die Subsistenz des Volkes sichergestellt werden.

Ziel ist es, landwirtschaftliche Programme und nachhaltige Aktivitäten einzuführen, die nicht zerstörerisch sind und die mit der sozialen Organisation der Guarani in Einklang stehen.

Die indianische Bevölkerung im Projektgebiet umfasst ca. 2.500 Personen. Vom Projekt sind alle Dörfer des Küstengebiets betroffen.

Aktivitäten:

Agrarökologische Bestandsaufnahme in den Dörfern (Aufnahme des Gebiets, Analyse und Bewertung der Umweltsituation, Aufzeichnung der traditionelle genutzten Arten, etc.), Bodenschutz und Eigenversorgung (Maßnahmen zur Umweltsanierung, Unterstützung der Landwirtschaft, Hühnerzucht, Sammeln von Samen, Wiederaufforstung), Organisation, Austausch, Koordinierung der Aktivitäten (Seminare, Kontakte zur Umwelteinrichtungen und Behörden etc.)
