Short Description:

Overall goal


Die Aktivitäten des Buchprojektes umfassen die Herausgabe, Publikation und Bewerbung des Sammelbands ‚Grenzen des Hungers - Ernährungssicherung in Zeiten des globalen Wandels‘. Das Buch mit Beiträgen von rund 15 AutorInnen auf über 250 Seiten erscheint im Verlag Noir in einer Auflage von 700 Stück.

Thematische Schwerpunkte sind: Globale Ernährungssituation in Geschichte, Gegenwart und Zukunft; Konsumverhalten und Lebensmittelverschwendung; Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Pflanzenzucht und des (ökologischen) Landbaus; politische Konzepte einer zukunftsfähigen Landwirtschaft zur Ernährungssicherung bzw. Ernährungssouveränität. Weiters werden auch entwicklungspolitische good practice Beispiele vorgestellt, die zur nachhaltigen Lebensmittelversorgung in Ländern des globalen Südens beitragen.

Ziel- und Dialoggruppen sind entwicklungspolitisch Interessierte, AkteuerInnen der Zivilgesellschaft und politische EntscheidungsträgerInnen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 13.000 in der Höhe von Euro 2.000 (15,38%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
