Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist die Stärkung der Kapazitäten der sechs bestehenden nationalen zivilgesellschaftlichen Netzwerke sowie deren Mitgliederorganisationen in den Projektländern (Armenien, Aserbaidschan, Belarus, Georgien, Moldau, Ukraine) der Östlichen Nachbarschaftsregion zum Thema Klimawandelanpassung. Durch gezielte Informationsmaßnahmen und Aufklärung sollen nationale und lokale Politikprozesse beeinflusst und mitgestaltet werden (z.B. Klimawandelanpassungspläne). Das Vorhaben baut auf dem erfolgreichen Projekt 'Klimaforum Ost I' auf. Die Netzwerke bestehen aus Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) aus dem humanitären, Gesundheits- und Sozialbereich, sowie aus der Wirtschaft und dem Umweltschutz. Insgesamt sind 80 NGOs mit ungefähr 800 MitarbeiterInnen aktiv in die Projektaktivitäten involviert.

Erwartete Resultate:

1. Kapazitätssteigerung von sechs NGO-Netzwerken und deren Mitglieder durch maßgeschneiderte NGO-Kapazitätsentwicklungsprogramme in den Themenbereichen Führung, Ressourcen Mobilisierung und Kommunikation.

2. NGOs haben erhöhte Kapazitäten, lokale Aktionspläne für Klimawandelanpassung durch einen breite Zusammenarbeit mit relevanten Akteuren zu entwickeln und kleine Projekte zu Klimawandelanpassung durchzuführen, die als Fallbespiele für anwaltschaftliche Arbeit auf nationaler Ebene verwendet werden. Davon werden ungefähr 27.000 GemeindebewohnerInnen profitieren.

3. Nationale NGO-Netzwerke haben erhöhten Einfluss auf den nationalen Politikdialog zum Thema Klimawandel und Umweltpolitik und erreichen die breitere Öffentlichkeit durch Informations- und Aufklärungsmaßnahmen. U.a. werden ungefähr 10.800 SchülerInnen erreicht.

4. Die Kapazitäten der sechs Netzwerke und der NGOs zum Thema Klimawandel und Umweltpolitik werden durch einen regionalen Austausch gestärkt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
