Overall goal


Der Verein ipsum leistet internationale Kultur- und Bildungsarbeit und fördert den Diskurs über Bild- und Bildsprache. Im Fokus aller Initiativen stehen zwei Aspekte: Selbstausdruck und Austausch mit anderen - über kulturelle, politische, sprachliche und religiöse Grenzen hinweg.

Mit dem Projekt 2010-2011 werden mehrere Ausstellungsprojekte in Österreich verwirklicht. Die entstandenen Bildresultate der ipsum-Workshops aus den letzten 7 Jahren werden einem breiten Publikum vermittelt. Bilder aus Angola, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palästina, Israel und Österreich werden präsentiert und von Interaktionen im öffentlichen Raum und Workshops begleitet. Den BetrachterInnen wird die Möglichkeit zur Reflexion fremder Lebenswelten und zum eigenen Engagement innerhalb des Projektes gegeben. Ergänzende Aktivitäten wie die Produktion eines ipsum-Postkarten-Albums, die Abhaltung von Lesekreisen und Seminare für LehrerInnen, SchülerInnen, StudentInnen und Erwachsene sowie Podiumsdiskussionen ermöglichen eine vertiefende Auseinandersetzung. Die Aktionen und Vernetzung im Online-Bereich werden erweitert (Foren, Blogs, Webportale). Als Zielgruppen werden eine breite interessierte Öffentlichkeit, MultiplikatorInnen und Medien angesprochen.

Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 20.000,- (79,46 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens, Laufzeit 2 Jahre) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
