Expected results


Erhebung der privaten Zuschüsse (Eigenmittel) österreichischer Vereine und Organisationen, die im Jahr 2019 Aktivitäten im Bereich der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, der Humanitären Hilfe oder der Katastrophenhilfe geleistet haben.

Activities


• Erfassung von Organisationen, Vereinen, Einrichtungen

• Kontaktaufnahme sowie Kontaktmanagement (per Mail, Telefon); Versendung der Erhebungsunterlagen

• Verwaltung von Dateneingängen

• Prüfung der Daten auf Vollständigkeit und Plausibilität (Abgleich mit Daten des Vorjahres)

• Prüfung ob Daten anhand der Melderichtlinien des DAC gemeldet wurden (Sektor-Codes, SDGs, Marker, Querfinanzierungen, Projektbeschreibungen)

• Auswertung und Analyse der Daten; Vergleich mit Vorjahresdaten

• Übermittlung der Daten an die Stabstelle Evaluierung & Statistik der Austrian Development Agency in EXCEL-Format und eines kurzen Abschlussberichts

 


Context


Ein wichtiger Bestandteil der österreichischen Meldung an das DAC (Development Assistance Committee) sind die privaten Zuschüsse österreichischer Vereine und Organisationen. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass auch die privaten Aufwendungen für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Katastrophenhilfe aufgezeigt werden. Die Erhebung, Aufarbeitung und Analyse der Daten gibt des Weiteren Aufschluss über die entwicklungspolitische Landschaft und Akteure in Österreich.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
