Short Description:

Overall goal


Im Zentrum des Projekts steht die Schaffung einer Online-Plattform für entwicklungspolitische Kommunikation und Bildung für Volunteer Reisende, die Bildungsinhalte bereitstellt und die Vernetzung und Kooperation von angehenden und ehemaligen Volunteers, ExpertInnen und Organisationen in diesem Bereich fördert.

Volunteers aus Österreich soll das notwendige Vorwissen vermittelt werden, um eine nachhaltige Lernerfahrung im Zuge des Auslandsaufenthalts sicherzustellen, Reflexionsfähigkeit zu fördern und das Gelernte und die Erfahrungen nach der Rückkehr in den Alltag zu integrieren. Durch größtmögliche Sichtbarkeit der Plattform bei den wichtigsten Suchmaschinen und in relevanten Sozialen Netzwerken soll die Zielgruppe direkt angesprochen werden.


Expected results


Etablierung der Online-Plattform mit 15.000 LeserInnen (unique visitors) und 50 Blogbeiträgen inkl. Interviews mit Organisationen zu Ende der Projektlaufzeit.

1 inhaltliches Update pro Monat mit Hintergrundinformationen, Ausbau der Social Media Aktivitäten: jährlich 300 Beiträge in Social Media Kanälen.

Publikationen: 1 Broschüre, 1 Leitfaden (eBook).


Target group / Beneficiaries


Hauptzielgruppe des Projekts sind junge Menschen zwischen 16 und 35, die das Ziel verfolgen ehrenamtlich im Ausland tätig zu sein oder sich für das Thema nachhaltiges Reisen interessieren. Eine weitere Zielgruppe sind österreichische Entsendeorganisationen im Bereich Volunteer Reisen. Dialoggruppen sind Organisationen und Vereine, die als MultiplikatorInnen in den Themenbereichen Ehrenamt und Freiwilligenarbeit im Ausland tätig sind.


Activities


Die Maßnahmen beinhalten Aufbau der Online Plattform, Webdesign und Content Management, Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer Strategie zur Suchmaschinenoptimierung, suchmaschinenoptimierte Aufbereitung von Texten, Bildern und weiterführenden Links, Verlinkung und Interaktion auf ähnlichen Plattformen, zielgruppenorientierte Erstellung von Inhalten (Blogbeiträge, Seiteninhalte, Videos, Text- und Bildmaterialien für Social Media), Vernetzung durch Interviews und Gastbeiträge, Social Media Aktivitäten in relevanten Netzwerken. Zusätzlich zur Online-Plattform beinhalten die Projektmaßnahmen die Herausgabe eines Leitfadens als eBook und einer Broschüre für Interessierte an Freiwilligenarbeit im Ausland.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 30.000 mit Euro 20.000 (66,67%) gefördert.
