Overall goal


Die regionale Bildungsarbeit des ÖIE Kärnten leistet einen Beitrag zum gesellschaftlichen Diskurs zu globalen und entwicklungspolitischen Fragestellungen.


Zielsetzung des Projekts ist es, ausgehend von der Situation vor Ort Menschen zu einer vertiefenden Beschäftigung mit Entwicklungsfragen anzuregen, sie bei ihrem Engagement und ihrer Auseinandersetzung mit globalen Themen wie Entwicklung, Wirtschaft, Arbeit, Gesellschaft, Staat zu begleiten und entsprechende Bildungsangebote bereitzustellen.


Die schulische Bildungsarbeit umfasst die die Weiterbildung und Reflexion für LehrerInnen und Studierende an Pädagogischen Hochschulen, die Führung einer Mediathek, Beratung, Vermittlung von ReferentInnen, Schulung von LehrerInnen in der Durchführung von Workshops für SchülerInnen, Filmangebote, Lesungen, Ausstellungen.

Im Rahmen der Erwachsenenbildung, Öffentlichkeits¬arbeit und Netzwerkarbeit werden unter anderem Einzelveranstaltungen, längerfristige Arbeitskreise, Veranstaltungsreihen und Tagungen organisiert, Radiosendungen gestaltet und Hintergrund¬informationen erstellt.


Ziel- und Dialoggruppen sind MultiplikatorInnen (u.a. LehrerInnen) im schulischen und außerschulischen Bildungsbereich, zivilgesellschaftliche Initiativen, politisch, entwicklungspolitisch und ökologisch Interessierte bzw. Engagierte, interkulturell Interessierte, BeamtInnen, Wirtschaftstreibende, LeserInnen von regionalen Medien, SchülerInnen.


Das Programm basiert auf einer breiten Kooperationsbasis mit PartnerInnen innerhalb und außerhalb des entwicklungspolitischen Bereichs (z.B. Südwind-Regionalstellen, Klimabündnis, Dachverband Entwicklungspolitischer Organisationen, SOL, Attac, Armutsnetzwerk, Zentrum für Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung/ Uni Klagenfurt, Kärntner Bibliotheksverband) sowie mit lokalen und regionalen Medien.


Das Programm wird bei einem Gesamtprogrammvolumen von Euro 252.207,- in der Höhe von Euro 192.000,- (76,13%) für 3 Jahre gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
