Overall goal


Mit dem Mikroprojekt soll eine Grundlage für die Umsetzung eines Qualifizierungsprogramms für Schlüsselkräfte in der ländlichen Entwicklung in Georgien geschaffen werden. Dies ermöglicht den Aufbau, die Begleitung und das Management von ökologischen Initiativen und Projekten. Viele ländliche Regionen und Berggebiete Georgiens sind durch mangelnde Einkommens- und Erwerbsperspektiven für die Bevölkerung geprägt. Die lokale Partner¬organisation Ethic Finance setzt Impulse und entwickelt Strategien für die Entwicklung ländlicher Räume und von Berggebieten.


Der Erfolg von ökologisch orientierten Initiativen in der Landwirtschaft, im Tourismus oder in anderen Bereichen auf Basis von Kleinunternehmen, Genossenschaften und lokalen Gemeinschaftsprojekten hängt von den Qualifikationen und Kompetenzen der dafür verantwortlichen Personen ab. Im Rahmen der Tätigkeit von Ethic Finance wurde ein Netzwerk aufgebaut, dessen Mitglieder die Zielgruppe des Projektes bilden. Der Qualifizierungsbedarf wird in Form eines Kataloges erhoben, ein Konzept für das Qualifizierungsprogramm wird erarbeitet.


Die Entwicklung erfolgt über Recherche und Auswertung von Informationen, die Durchführung von gemeinsamen Workshops, Besprechungen und Besichtigungen und der nachfolgenden Auswertung. Die Ergebnisse bilden die Grundlage zur Stärkung der Organisation Ethic Finance und seines Netzwerkes für eine erfolgreiche Tätigkeit in der ländlichen Entwicklung. Das Projektgebiet umfasst ausgewählte ländliche Gebiete und Gemeinden in Georgien (zum Beispiel die Region Svanetien, die Gemeinde Sobisi/Nähe Gori).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
