Overall goal


Das bewährte Projekt, das auch 2009 fortgesetzt wird, umfasst folgende Maßnahmen der Südwind Agentur:


Die Entwicklungspolitischen Infotheken in den Regionalstellen Vorarlberg, Tirol, Steiermark und Oberösterreich stellen Materialien (Bücher, Broschüren, Medien, Spiele) und Beratung zu aktuellen ep. Themen zur Verfügung und führen Veranstaltungen durch.


Globales Lernen: Die Südwind Agentur arbeitet in der Strategiegruppe Globales Lernen mit und setzt die Aus- u. Weiterbildung von LehrerInnen/MultiplikatorInnen mit den Pädagogischen Hochschulen um.


Die Südwind Agentur konzipiert und betreut Ausstellungen zu ep.Themen primär für die schulische Bildungsarbeit, darüber hinaus werden sie auch für die Erwachsenenbildung eingesetzt.


Workshopreihe "Weltsicht entwickeln": 10 Workshopangebote für SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen thematisieren globale Zusammenhänge, gesellschaftspolitische, sozioökonomische und ökologische Fragen.


Gemeindearbeit- Entwicklungspolitik auf kommunaler Ebene: Information (Guidelines/Broschüren, Website), Bildung, Beratung und Umsetzungsprojekte auf kommunaler Ebene österreichweit zu den Themen Faire öffentliche Beschaffung, Nord-Süd-Städtepartnerschaften sowie Migration&Integration tragen zur Stärkung kommunaler EP in Ö bei.


Die regionale entwicklungspolitische Medienarbeit der Südwind-Regionalstellen zielt auf eine stärkere Verankerung ep. Themen in der regionalen Medienberichterstattung.


Die Internetplattform OneWorld.at bietet Information und Serviceleistungen zu ep. u. globalen Themen.


Die von der Südwind Agentur koordinierte Plattform "Medien& Entwicklung" bietet aktiv Serviceleistungen für ORF-RedakteurInnen an, um ep. Themen stärker im ORF zu verankern.


"Südwind, Magazin für internationale Politik, Kultur und Entwicklung" erscheint 10 Mal jährlich in einer Auflage von ca. 6.000 Stück.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 1.103.025,00 in der Höhe von EUR 781.300,00 (70,83%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
