Overall goal


"Weltumspannend arbeiten" fördert als entwicklungspolitische NGO Bildungsmaßnahmen von ArbeitnehmerInnen, Gewerkschaftsmitgliedern und -funktionärInnen. Ziel ist die hinter der Globalisierung der Arbeit stehenden Zusammenhänge, Interessenslagen und deren Auswirkungen zu beleuchten und im gewerkschaftlichen Umfeld aber auch für KonsumentInnen aufzuzeigen. Dazu wird der Austausch von Erfahrungen ermöglicht, über konkrete Handlungsfelder informiert und Raum für Kooperationen und Aktionen solidarischen Handelns eröffnet.


Weltumspannend Arbeiten setzt mit seinen Aktivitäten wichtige Impulse und kann auf eine gute Kooperationsstruktur in Gewerkschaft und Arbeiterkammer sowie im entwicklungspolitischen Bereich zurückgreifen. Der Antragsteller betont die Einbindung frauen- und jugendspezifischer Themen.


Die geplanten Aktivitäten umfassen u.a.:

ReferentInnen-Tätigkeit, Organisation und Durchführung von Bildungsveranstaltungen (Seminare, Vorträge, Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Workshops), Durchführung und Unterstützung von Kampagnen, Gewerkschaftliche Bildungsreisen in den Süden (z.B.: Kontaktreise in die Republik Moldau), Ausstellungsmanagement, Verleih von entwicklungspolitischen Materialien, Beratung, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in gewerkschaftsinternen Medien und Homepagegestaltung, Netzwerk- und Bündnisarbeit, Kontakte und Kooperationen mit nationalen und internationalen NROs, Inhaltliche Gewerkschaftsgremienarbeit, Recherchetätigkeiten.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 69.774,00 in der Höhe von Euro 52.000,00 (74,53%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
