Das Interdisziplinäre Forschungsinstitut für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (IEZ) veranstaltet im Oktober 2009 im Linzer Moviemento Kino zum sechsten Mal entwicklungspolitische Filmtage.

Zum diesjährigen Schwerpunkt Laos und Vietnam werden an sechs Tagen 9 Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme präsentiert. Begleitend dazu gibt es 2 Podiumsdiskussionen, in denen anhand der Beispiele Laos und Vietnam u.a. makroökonomische Entwicklungen der Region im Kontext der politischen Abhängigkeiten, die Auswirkungen der Wirtschafts- und Finanzkrise auf Entwicklungsländer und die Bedeutung eines nachhaltigen Tourismus diskutiert werden.

In einer Kooperation mit dem Offenen Kulturhaus Oberösterreich ist auch eine Fotoausstellung über kleine Gewerbebetriebe in Hanoi und Favoriten geplant, die im Rahmen eines ein Stadtteilprojekts zum Thema Globalisierung von Kulturen in Bewegung entstanden ist. Das Café Gelbes Krokodil und das Foyer des Moviemento-Kino bieten eine Kommunikations- und Präsentationsplattform für oberösterreichische entwicklungspolitische NRO. Ebenfalls vorgesehen sind kulturelle Beiträge und Kulinarik aus der Region sowie begleitende Medienbeiträge.

Zielgruppen des Projekts sind kulturtouristisch und gesellschaftspolitisch interessierte Menschen, Personen mit Interesse an historischen und entwicklungspolitischen Themen sowie ein allgemein filminteressiertes Publikum.

Kooperationspartner sind u.a.: Programmkino Moviemento Linz, Cafe Gelbes Krokodil, Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz ÖRK, WEKEF, AGEZ OÖ und zahlreiche Medien (vor allem Ö1, ORF-Landesstudio OÖ, regionale Radiosender und Printmedien).


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 17.083,75 in der Höhe von

EUR 4.000,00 (23,41%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
