Overall goal


Das Afro-Asiatische Institut Salzburg nimmt die Schwerpunktsetzung des 'European Year for Development 2015' und die Post 2015 Agenda 'A Decent Life for All' in sein Programm auf. Dazu werden die Zusammenhänge von Wachstum und Entwicklung auf drei Ebenen beleuchtet. Auf der ersten Ebene 'Wie lebe ich?' stehen Konsum- und Lebensstilmuster des /der Einzelnen im Globalen Norden im Mittelpunkt. Auf der zweiten Ebene wird der Frage 'Wie leben wir? Entwicklung und Grenzen des Wachstums' nachgegangen und es werden die Auswirkungen einer rein auf Wachstum ausgerichteten Wirtschaftsweise auf die Länder des Globalen Südens reflektiert. Und auf der dritten Ebene steht mit der Frage 'Wie wollen wir leben? Post-Wachstum und das gute Leben für alle' die Entwicklung von Alternativen im Mittelpunkt. Das AAI Salzburg nützt dabei seine Erfahrung als interkulturelles Bildungs- und Begegnungszentrum. Information, Sensibilisierung und Austausch stehen im Mittelpunkt.


Resultate:

Über vielfältige Bildungsformaten werden ein differenzierter Diskurs ermöglicht und Potenziale für eine soziale und ökologische nachhaltige globale Entwicklung sichtbar gemacht. An den circa 40 Veranstaltungen nehmen etwa 2000 Personen teil. Diese Aktivitäten werden durch Öffentlichkeits- und Medienarbeit inkl. Online-Angebote ergänzt (1.000 NewsletterbezieherInnen, 1.600 Flyer, redaktionelle Beiträge usw.) Für die geplanten Aktivitäten werden vielfältige Kooperationen mit PartnerInnen innerhalb und außerhalb des entwicklungspolitischen Sektors eingegangen (ca. 130 Kooperations-, rund 270 NetzwerkpartnerInnen).


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 52.000.- in der Höhe von Euro 22.000.- (42,31 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
