Projektziel:

Das Projekt nimmt das Europäische Jahr für Entwicklung (EYD) 2015 zum Anlass, um SchülerInnen und SeniorInnen zum Dialog zu Themen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit einzuladen.

Erwartete Ergebnisse:

Durch die Durchführung von 25 Workshops mit 30 Klassen in höheren Schulen, 5 Hauptregionsveranstaltungen und eine landesweite Abschlussveranstaltung werden ca. 2.500 Menschen erreicht.

Die fünf Themen "Geschichte der Entwicklungshilfe", "Österreichs Engagement in der Welt für Gesundheit und Soziales", "der Weg Europas in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit", "gelebte Entwicklungshilfe" und "Basisinformationen zur Europäischen Union generationsübergreifend" werden erarbeitet. Die Ergebnisse werden mulitmedial oder darstellend durch SchülerInnen und SeniorInnen präsentiert. Das Wissen um die Entwicklungszusammenarbeit soll so vertieft und um die Sichtweisen der verschiedenen Generationen bereichert werden.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Zielgruppe/Partner/Region:

Zu den Zielgruppen gehören SchülerInnen fünf höherer Schulen (ab der 10. Schulstufe) der fünf Niederösterreichischen Hauptregionen sowie jeweils 3 SeniorInnen der fünf Niederösterreichischen Hauptregionen. Diese SeniorInnen sind mit 120-150 Senioren ebenso wie die SchülerInnen zur Hauptregionsveranstaltung und zur landesweiten Abschlussveranstaltung eingeladen und anwesend.

Insgesamt werden ca. 2.500 Personen direkt erreicht. Via begleitender (über)regionaler Medienarbeit wird die Reichweite im ganzen Bundesland erhöht.

Das Vorhaben wird in Kooperation mit dem Land NÖ, der Servicestelle europeDirect NÖ und entwicklungspolitischen zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen durchgeführt.


Activities


Maßnahmen:

Die SeniorInnen erarbeiten gemeinsam mit den SchülerInnen in den Klassen in Vorausworkshops mit Experten je eines der fünf Themen als gemeinsamen Präsentationsbeitrag bei der Hauptregionsveranstaltung.

In insgesamt 25 gemeinsamen Workshops an höheren Schulen werden Informationen über Initiativen und Engagement von EZA/ Entwicklungspolitik im europäischen/ österreichischen Kontext aufbereitet. Es sollen anhand von konkreten Beispielen globale Zusammenhänge am Beispiel der eigenen lokalen/persönlichen Lebenswelten reflektiert und dargestellt werden. Die Ergebnisse werden jeweils anlässlich einer Veranstaltung allen 5 niederösterreichischen Hauptregionen Mostviertel, Weinviertel, Waldviertel, Industrieviertel und NÖ-Mitte unter der Schirmherrschaft von LR Barbara Schwarz öffentlichkeitswirksam präsentiert. Das Veranstaltungsprogramm in den Regionen umfasst weiters Diskussionen mit EU- und EZA-ExpertInnen/VertreterInnen aus Politik, Verwaltung und Zivilgesellschaft. Informations- und Servicestände sowie interaktive Angebote für Kinder und Erwachsene (z.B. Klimaclowns) bieten Zugänge für eine breite regionale Öffentlichkeit. Darüber hinaus ist eine landesweite Abschlussveranstaltung geplant.
