Overall goal


Die zentralbosnische Region um Travnik war vor dem Krieg ein Zentrum für Maschinenbauindustrie und metallverarbeitendes Gewerbe. Heute ist das Gebiet durch hohe Arbeitslosigkeit, veraltete industrielle Strukturen und Fachwissen der Arbeitskräfte und institutionelle Probleme im öffentlichen Bereich geprägt.

Die Wirtschaftspartnerschaft der in Deutschland ansässigen Firma GLOBAL SOURCING in Kooperation mit ihrer bosnischen Tochterfirma GS-TMT setzt hier an.

Das Projekt ist in 3 Komponenten gegliedert: Zuerst soll die Zertifizierung des Betriebs GS-TMT und seiner Mitarbeiter im Bereich Schweißtechnik (DIN 18800-7 Kl.E; DIN 6700-2; DIN 287-1) erfolgen. Dies soll die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von GS-TMT stärken und dadurch Arbeitsplätze sichern.

Komponente 2 beinhaltet die Motivation weiterer Unternehmen der Region durch Informationsveranstaltungen (7 Workshops) sowie die Ausschreibung eines Wettbewerbs, um aussichtsreiche Bewerber für weitere Schulungen und Zertifizierung zu identifizieren. Dies soll der Verstärkung der Effekte von Komponente 1 dienen, da Qualität und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit weiterer Unternehmen unterstützt werden und durch die Schaffung von Einkommen Armut reduziert wird.

Komponente 3 zielt auf die Vermittlung arbeitsmarktpolitischen Know-hows an relevante öffentliche Institutionen (z.B. Arbeitsmarktservice) ab. Dadurch sollen Betriebe und Arbeitskräfte in Bemühungen zur Steigerung von Produktionsstandards und Qualifikationen unterstützt und die Entwicklung regionalspezifischer Institutionen (z.B. Qualifizierungsverbund) ermöglicht werden.

Ziel ist die Stärkung der industriellen Entwicklung in der Region durch Qualifizierung von Unternehmen und Arbeitskräften der Metallbranche, die Vernetzung regionaler Betriebe sowie die Verbesserung institutioneller Rahmenbedingungen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
