Overall goal


Das AAI Salzburg versteht sich als interkulturelles Begegnungszentrum und bietet ein internationales entwicklungspolitisches Bildungs- und Kulturprogramm. Das Institut fühlt sich dem Prinzip der Gleichrangigkeit der Kulturen und den Inhalten der Inter- und Transkultur- Konzepte verpflichtet. Menschen aus verschiedenen Kulturen, die in Salzburg leben, den so genannten Allochthonen haben die Möglichkeit ihre vielfältigen interkulturellen & interreligiösen Ressourcen zu präsentieren, in Form von interkulturellen Abenden, dem interreligiösem Dialog, Kunst und Literatur.


Das Programm des AAI Salzburg fokussiert 2009 die Thematik auf "Globale Risiken - globalisierte Wirtschaftspolitik und ihre Auswirkungen auf Umwelt & Lebensbedingungen der Menschen in Süd & Nord". Es werden die Hintergründe und die Folgen der Globalisierung beleuchtet. Die inhaltlichen Ziele werden im Dialog mit den Communities aus afrikanischen, asiatischen und lateinamerikanischen Ländern, Partnerorganisationen und StipendiatInnen ausgearbeitet. Die Öffentlichkeits- und Pressarbeit umfasst Veranstaltungsankündigungen, Plakatwerbung, Medieninformationen, Pressekonferenzen, Gespräche mit interessierten JournalistInnen.


Im didaktischen Konzept und den Methoden der Umsetzung des AAI Salzburg ist hervorzuheben, dass diese im Dialog mit den KooperationspartnerInnen erarbeitet werden. Dies umfasst die inhaltlichen Zielsetzungen bis hin zur Umsetzung und Evaluation.


Die breit gefächerten Maßnahmen umfassen: Seminare, Diskussionen, Vorträge, Vernissagen, Kulturpräsentationen, Workshops, Buchpräsentation ua.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 61.600,- in der Höhe von EUR 28.000,- (45,45%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
