Overall goal


Die Südwind Agentur ist die größte entwicklungspolitische Informations- und Bildungsorganisation in Österreich. Im Rahmen ihrer Bildungsarbeit hat die Südwind Agentur bereits mehrfach innovative und interaktive Ausstellungen für Kinder und Jugendliche erarbeitet und viele Jahre erfolgreich angeboten. Im Rahmen eines 3-teiligen Projektes entwickelt die Südwind Agentur seit 2004 je eine mobile Ausstellung zu einem Land Afrikas, Lateinamerikas und Asiens. Alle drei Ausstellungen enthalten vier inhaltliche Module Kontinentspezifische Einführung, Lebenswelt und Alltag von Jugendlichen (Jugendkultur, Sprache, Musik, Comics, Erwachsenwerden), Kunst und Kultur (Medien, Musik, Persönlichkeiten, Sport und Sprachen) und Lebenswelten von MigrantInnen. Die Themenmodule sind einzeln einsetzbar bzw. mit den entsprechenden Modulen der anderen Ausstellungen kombinierbar (z.B. Modul Lebenswelt in drei Ländern).

Nachdem 2004 das Ausstellungsmodul Uganda und 2005 das Modul zu Guatemala erstellt wurden, wird 2006 die Ausstellung zu Sri Lanka erarbeitet. Sri Lanka weist Anknüpfungspunkte zur OEZA und zu NGO-Projekten auf, z. B. Tee und Gewürze im Fairen Handel/ in Weltläden, verschiedene Projekte privater und kirchlicher Organisationen, zahlreiche Hilfsprojekte nach dem Tsunami. Durch die Kontakte zu GewerkschafterInnen in Sri Lanka gibt es gute Verknüpfungsmöglichkeiten mit der Clean Clothes Kampagne, die gerade bei Jugendlichen auf Interesse stößt.

Die Ausstellung ist für 11-14 Jährige konzipiert und wird von geschulten ReferentInnen präsentiert. Alle Ausstellungsmodule existieren in 2-facher Ausfertigung und sind für den bundesweiten Einsatz vorgesehen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von ¿ 39.400,00 in der Höhe von ¿ 29.550,00 (75 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries.
