Overall goal


Dieses internationale Projekt wird in in 5 europäischen Ländern (Deutschland, Österreich, Niederlande, Belgien und Frankreich) durchgeführt,, außereuropäische Partner sind aus China, Thailand und Malaysia. Das Projekt wird in ganz Österreich umgesetzt, spezieller Projektpartner ist Weltumspannend Arbeiten in Linz.

Bei diesem Kooperationsprojekt zwischen europäischen und (süd)ostasiatischen zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen (ZGO), soll der Diskurs über soziale, ökologische und menschenrechtliche Entwicklungsziele als Grundlage der Beziehungen der EU und ihrer Mitgliedsländer mit China intensiviert werden.

Als Ziel- und Dialoggruppen des Projektes werden vor allem MultiplikatorInnen der entwicklungs-, friedens- und umweltpolitischen Bildungsarbeit, entwicklungspolitische, gewerkschaftliche und kirchliche Gruppen und Organisationen, JournalistInnen, Abgeordnete (nationale Parlamente, Europaparlament) und Mitarbeitende von Ministerien, VertreterInnen des Managements und BetriebsrätInnen von Unternehmen mit Geschäftsbeziehungen zu China angesprochen. Die geplanten Aktivitäten im Projekt lassen sich unter vier Bereichen zusammenfassen: Erstellung von Informations- und Bildungsmaterialien zu den übergeordneten Projektthemen, Schaffung eines China-Netzwerkes, Förderung der Zusammenarbeit mit chinesischen Nichtregierungsorganisationen und Lobbying-Initiativen im politischen Umfeld bzw. im Umfeld von Unternehmen;


Es wird um eine Förderung in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,- (1,08 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) angesucht. Laufzeit: 3 Jahre

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
