Overall goal


Die EU-kofinanzierte Kampagne baut auf erfolgreichen Vorprojekten bzw. Initiativen der internationalen Clean Clothes Kampagne auf, die sich für die Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingungen in der Bekleidungsproduktion weltweit einsetzt. Das Projekt zielt auf Sensibilisierung und Mobilisierung von KonsumentInnen für existenzsichernde Löhne sowie auf Implementierung und Umsetzung von Politiken zu existenzsichernden Löhnen durch Bekleidungsunternehmen und politische EntscheidungsträgerInnen.

In Österreich ist die Südwind Agentur Koordinationsstelle der Clean Clothes Kampagne, die Teil des internationalen Netzwerkes der Clean Clothes Campaign ist. 17 Organisationen aus diesem Netzwerk werden unter der Leitung des Internationalen Sekretariats der Clean Clothes Campaign mit Sitz in den Niederlanden die Projektaktivitäten umsetzen. Österreich ist bei der Umsetzung dieses Projektes federführend bei der Entwicklung und Koordination eines europäischen Kommunikationsplans und der Erarbeitung von Kampagnentools. Die Aktivitäten umfassen u.a. Aktionswochen zum Thema existenzsichernde Löhne, Bewerbung einer Petition für menschenwürdige Löhne von NäherInnen und die Veröffentlichung der Ergebnisse einer Unternehmensbefragung. Insgesamt werden mit der Initiative rund 50 Millionen BürgerInnen in Europa angesprochen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 15.900,- ( 1,20% des Gesamtprojektvolumens)gefördert. Laufzeit: 3 Jahre (1.1.2013-31.12.2015)

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
