Overall goal


Im Rahmen des European Year for Development (EYD 2015) ist Ende November die Abhaltung des Symposiums 'Time to Act – s'isch Zit!' im Festspielhaus Bregenz für BürgerInnen, SchülerInnen, Studierende und Wirtschaftstreibende aus Bregenz und der Bodenseeregion geplant. Anhand von CARE-Projekten wird über die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf BewohnerInnen in Entwicklungsländern sowie erfolgreiche Anpassungsstrategien informiert. Kooperationspartner sind unter anderem die Vorarlberger Initiative 'Moll des goht', Universität Graz, Zeppelin Universität Friedrichshafen, das Energieinstitut des Landes Vorarlberg, sowie die Allianz für Klimagerechtigkeit.

Der 'lokale Horizont' der Wahrnehmung soll durch Mobilisierung der Zielgruppe, sich aktiv mit den Problemen des Klimawandels auseinanderzusetzen, erweitert und gemeinsam Bewusstsein darüber erarbeitet werden, wie lokale Entwicklungen sowohl im Süden als auch Norden sich global auswirken bzw. wie umgekehrt globale Entwicklungen auf die lokale Ebene rückwirken. Der Gedanke der regionalen Verantwortung für globale Fragen soll weiter gedacht, Handlungsoptionen auf lokaler Ebene (z.B. CSR-Strategien, nachhaltige Lebensweisen) aufgezeigt werden – und in einem partizipativ erarbeiteten 'Action Plan' zu konkretem Output führen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 13.700 (74% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
