Overall goal


Mit dem Projekt anlässlich des Europäischen Jahres für Entwicklung (EYD 2015) werden zentrale Anliegen der neuen Entwicklungsagenda (Sustainable Development Goals) anschaulich gemacht und globale Zusammenhänge im Kontext von Klima- und Bodenschutz, Energieerzeugung, Ressourcen und globale Wertschöpfungsketten, Ernährung und Landwirtschaft, Verteilungsgerechtigkeit, Konsum und Werteverständnis bewusst gemacht, Handlungsfelder im eigenen Umfeld auf nationaler/ regionaler/ kommunaler und privatwirtschaftlicher Ebene beleuchtet und zu konkreten Aktionen motiviert. Ziel ist es, für entwicklungspolitisches Engagement, Solidarität und Verantwortung im gesellschaftlich-globalen Handeln zu aktivieren. Zielgruppen sind primär Entscheidungsträger_innen auf Gemeinde- und Länderebene, sowie eine breitere lokale/ regionale Öffentlichkeit über Unternehmen, Schulen und Medien.

Erwartete Resultate: (1) Ausarbeitung eines Aktionsplans Nachhaltige Entwicklung (mind. 50 Handlungsfelder in den Bereichen Nachhaltige Entwicklung global-lokal, Beschaffung, Ressourcenverbrauch, Mobilität;); (2) Aktivitäten mit/in Gemeinden (rd. 80 Veranstaltungen, Filmvorführungen, Workshops); (3) Adaptierung des Gemeinde-Tools KlimaCheck (Monitoring von 200 Gemeinden zu Klimagerechtigkeit); (4) Delegationsreise nach Brasilien/ Rio Negro (Herbst 2015); (5) begleitende Medienarbeit (20-30 Medienbeiträge in Lokal- und Regionalmedien; Klimabündniszeitschrift/ Reichweite 16.500 Personen). Österreichweit werden mit dem Projekt fast 1.000 Klimabündnis-Gemeinden, Landesverwaltungen, privatwirtschaftliche Akteure (900 Klimabündnisbetriebe), über 400 Klimabündnis-Bildungseinrichtungen und Vertreter_innen der Zivilgesellschaft erreicht.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 120.000 (80,01% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 1.1.2015 – 31.12.2016 (2 Jahre).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
