Short Description:

Overall goal


Mit dem Projekt anlässlich des Europäischen Jahres für Entwicklung (EYD 2015) soll das Engagement von Jugendlichen als Multiplikator/innen für nachhaltige globale Entwicklung gestärkt und eine breite regionale Öffentlichkeit sensibilisiert werden. Neue Partner und Zielgruppen der außerschulischen Jugendarbeit werden beteiligt. Partizipative Prozesse und eine „Kultur des Handelns“ für globale Fairness und Solidarität werden gefördert.


Expected results


60 Jugendliche in 5 Regionen der Steiermark erhalten die Gelegenheit sich mit Globalität im Kontext der eigenen Lebenswelt in insgesamt 10 Workshops vertiefend auseinanderzusetzen und in Teams konkrete Projektideen im Sinne von „think global – act local“ auszuarbeiten, die in naher Zukunft in der Steiermark umgesetzt werden können. Die TeilnehmerInnen entwickeln die Fähigkeit, eigene Projekte zu entwickeln. Begleitende Medienarbeit erweitert die regionale Reichweite?


Target group / Beneficiaries


Das Projekt wird in Kooperation mit dem Dachverband der Offenen Jugendarbeit, den regionalen Jugendmanagements, Steiermärkischen Landesjugendbeirat, Verein EP, Sinnstiftende Strategieentwicklung, Social Business Club Styria, Südwind Steiermark, Welthaus Graz und Schulen umgesetzt.


 


Activities


Das Leistungspaket umfasst: (1) 1 Kickoff-Meeting von Multiplikator/innen aus der Jugendarbeit am FairStyria-Tag; (2) 10 Regional-Workshops an 5 Orten mit 60 Jugendlichen. Nach dem Motto „Time for Global Action for People and Planet” werden 5 Projekte konzipiert. (3) Schlussveranstaltung mit mind. 100 TeinlnehmerInnen: Unter dem Motto „Die steirische Jugend übernimmt Globale Verantwortung“ werden der politischen Ebene (Landesregierung oder Landtag) in Graz die Projektideen präsentiert.

(4) Einbindung der regionalen Medien jeweils zum Abschluss der Workshop-Reihen, landesweit zur Schluss-Präsentation.

Das bürgerschaftliche Engagement der Jugendlichen wird im Zuge von FairStyria-Aktionen weiterhin gestärkt.

Das Projekt wird aus OEZA/ADA-Mitteln in der Höhe von EUR 19.200,- (54,86% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
