Overall goal


Das Vorhaben, welches in 4 Ländern (Österreich, UK, Polen und Niederlande) durchgeführt wird, richtet sich an Lehrbeauftragte und Studierende an Universitäten und Fachschulen im Bereich Textil und Mode/Design. Zentrales Anliegen ist die Sensibilisierung für die soziale Verantwortung von Unternehmen in der Bekleidungsindustrie und für Möglichkeiten der sozialen Unternehmenspraxis (CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility). Letztlich soll eine Integration dieser Themen im Lehrplan und -betrieb der Bildungsinstitutionen erreicht werden.

Ein umfassendes Maßnahmenpaket soll Einblick in die Situation von TextilarbeiterInnen in Entwicklungsländern und die Probleme von Billiglohnarbeit und niedrigen Arbeitsstandards schaffen, Kommunikation und Beziehungen zwischen Nord und Süd aufbauen sowie den Erfahrungsaustausch (good practice) unterstützen. Geplante Aktivitäten sind: Analyse und Evaluierung von Lehrplänen, Erstellung von Lehrmaterialien (online und Print), Entwicklung von Lehr- und Lerneinheiten, Training von Lehrbeauftragten, die Durchführung von Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen, Einbeziehen und Austausch mit Süd-PartnerInnen, das Heranführen an Multistakeholder-Initiativen für faire Arbeitsbedingungen in der Bekleidungsindustrie sowie Informationsarbeit (Website, Folder) und Medienarbeit (Fachpresse). Schließlich ist die Verbreitung der Projektidee und -inhalte in andere europäische Länder (insbesondere Frankreich und Italien) vorgesehen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von ¿ 55.500,00 (5,80% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) bei einer Laufzeit von Laufzeit von 3 Jahren gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
