Overall goal


Das Programm der Frauensolidarität umfasst Maßnahmen in den Bereichen Bibliothek und Redaktion.


Die seit Herbst 2009 in der ,C3 Bibliothek für Entwicklungspolitik’ (1090 Sensengasse) angesiedelte Bibliothek und Dokumentationsstelle Frauen und ,Dritte Welt’ versteht sich als zentrale Informationsvermittlungsstelle zu Gender und Entwicklung. An ca. 210 Öffnungstagen jährlich werden gemeinsam mit ÖFSE und BAOBAB insgesamt rund 10.000 BibliotheksbesucherInnen betreut, ca. 4.000 Medien aus dem Bestand der Frauensolidarität verliehen, Bibliotheksführungen und entwicklungspolitisch relevante Veranstaltungen durchgeführt sowie telefonische und schriftliche Anfragen beantwortet.

2012 wird neben den laufenden Tätigkeiten zur Aufrechterhaltung des Bibliotheksbetriebes ein Schwerpunkt auf der Zusammenlegung der Literaturdatenbanken von Frauensolidarität, ÖFSE und Österreichisches Lateinamerika-Institut (LAI) sowie in der gemeinsamen Öffentlichkeitsarbeit liegen. Für 2012 bis 2014 ist gemeinsam mit den anderen C3-Organisationen (ÖFSE, Frauensolidarität, BAOBAB, Paulo Freire Zentrum, Mattersburger Kreis) ein gemeinsamer inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt zu den Themen ,Bildung und Entwicklung’ sowie ,Bildung und Migration’ geplant.


Redaktion: Die Zeitschrift ,Frauensolidarität’ erscheint vierteljährlich in einer Auflage von 1.500 Stück. Die Themenschwerpunkte für 2012 sind ,Vernetzungen und Allianzen’, ,Klimawandel’, ,Medien und Demokratie’ sowie ,Migration, Bildung und Kulturschaffen’. Die Frauensolidarität gestaltet in Kooperation mit ORANGE 94.0 die wöchentlichen Radiosendungen ,Globale Dialoge - Women on Air’. Sie bringt ihre Expertise in das Radioprojekt ein (2012 zum Schwerpunkt ,Gutes Leben für alle: Ernährung, Klimawandel und Frauenrechte’) und arbeitet bei der Koordination der Weiterbildungsworkshops für Radiomacherinnen mit.


Das Programm wird bei einem Gesamtprogrammvolumen von Euro 565.400,- in der Höhe von Euro 390.000,- (68,98%) für 3 Jahre gefördert.
