Overall goal


Wirtschaft, Entwicklung und globale Verantwortung von Unternehmen sind angesichts eines zunehmend internationaleren Umfelds wichtige Zukunftsthemen für die österreichische Wirtschaft. Es ist daher entscheidend, die Relevanz des Themas und den Common Sense dazu in Österreich zu stärken und eine Diskussion unter Einbeziehung der relevanten Stakeholder zu etablieren. Die corporAID Plattform leistet einen Beitrag zur Information von Unternehmen, zur Verankerung und Weiterentwicklung des Themas in Österreich sowie zur Entwicklung eines Policy-Netzwerks Wirtschaft und Entwicklung. Die corporAID Plattform trägt damit zum Mainstreaming von Wirtschaft und Entwicklung in Österreich bei, sie gibt dem Thema ein schärferes Profil und eine gestiegene und kohärentere öffentliche Wahrnehmung. Zur Erreichung ihrer Ziele setzt die corporAID Plattform auf einen abgestimmten Mix aus bewährten, weiterentwickelten und neuen Instrumenten setzen:

•Medien wie das corporAID Magazin und das Webportal

•Veranstaltungen wie Konferenzen, Multilogues, Workshops und Expertengespräche

•Expertisen wie Hintergrundpapiere, Konzepte und Analysen

•Medien- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit


Das Projekt sieht bei einer Laufzeit von Juli 2013 bis März 2013 ein Budget von Euro 360.500 vor, wovon Euro 180.000 durch Kooperationen mit Unternehmen und Institutionen sowie durch direkte Einnahmen vor allem durch den Verkauf von Inseraten gedeckt werden können. Für die verbleibenden Euro 180.000 werden Förderungen der Austrian Development Agency und des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft, Familie und Jugend in Höhe von jeweils Euro 90.000 gewährt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
