Overall goal


Projektziel ist der Beitrag zur Entwicklung und Positionierung der strategischen Branchen der organischen Produktion auf internationalen und lokalen Märkten. Das Einkommen kleiner und mittlerer Produzenten/innen wird erhöht, was die Armut verringert und Arbeitsplätze und Deviseneinnahmen schafft.

Zwei Projektkomponenten:

(i) Die Komponente des Agrarhandels zur Förderung des Handels mit Erzeugnissen aus kontrollierter organischer Produktion (Erzeugung - Verarbeitung - Vermarktung)

(ii) Die Komponente der Politik und der Zertifizierung, zur Definition und zum Anstoß strategischer politischer Maßnahmen, Förderung von Synergien und Koordinierung für die Mobilisierung weiterer Ressourcen, sowie der Etablierung der Instanzen und Mechanismen, die zur Zertifizierung und zur Kontrolle der Aktivitäten nötig sind.


Bei der Komponente des Agrarhandels hat sich dieses Projekt vorgenommen zuerst drei durch ihre Exporterfahrung herausragende Branchen zu fördern: Fleisch, Honig und Kakao, Produkte, die sich als Kandidaten für ein schnelles Wachstum auszeichnen, da sie im Land seit langem hergestellt werden und auf internationalen, wachsenden Märkten verkauft werden. Es sind Produkte hoher Konkurrenzkraft, bei deren Produktion und Vermarktung auf Erfahrungen in der Organisation und im Handel zurückgegriffen werden kann. Die Auswahl dieser Branchen schränkt nicht die Möglichkeit ein, auch anderen potentiellen Branchen Unterstützung zu gewähren.

Das vorliegende Vorhaben hat Verbindung zu folgenden Projekten:

1731-00/04 Programm zur nachhaltigen ländlichen Entwicklung in der Gemeinde El Castillo, Nicaragua, sowie mit dem Projekt 1687-00/2005 Stärkung und Verbreitung von Produktionskonglomeraten (Cluster) in Nicaragua.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
